10/3- Home (G-Town Throwdown)

10/7- @ Lord Botetourt

10/10 @ Pulaski

10/17 @ Bath County

Cheerleading Tryouts: May 6th, 7th, 8th:  5:30-7:30 PM in the GMS Aux Gym. You must have a valid VHSL Physical on file at GMS. You must be present all 3 days of tryouts to be eligible for the team. Parent permission form must be filled out, signed, and turned in. GMS Cheerleading contract should be reviewed prior to trying out. 

Day One: Learning material: 2 Cheers, 1 Dance, Jumps, Spiriting

Day Two: Review all material

Day Three: Review material, Panel tryout with coaches.  You must wear a black top/t-shirt, black shorts, atheletic shoes, hair up and out of your face.

Cheerleading: Middle school cheerleading open gyms will begin Mondays and Tuesdays after spring break from 5:30-7:30 in the aux gym. See the flyers around the school, Ms. Lucas, or Ms. Smith for more information. (Students will need to go home and return for open gym. Students may not stay after school unsupervised.)
