Help Save the Next Girl Club is Collecting Items for Women in Need: Items needed include new toiletry items, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, deodorant, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair brushes, curling irons, hair dryers, hair ties, makeup, and makeup brushes. Items will be collected through March 20th. Drop off boxes are located at the front entrance and the bus entrance.
Lost and Found: Please check the lost and found this week if you have lost an item.
March Mathness: March Mathness kicks off on March 2 and will run for three consecutive weeks. During this time, students across the district will participate in math practice and friendly competition, with recognition awarded to the most proficient school, team, classroom, and individual student. Students will compete by completing skills from the Virginia IXL SOL Review Plans, earning credit when skills are completed to at least 80% proficiency. Only skills completed during school hours, Monday through Friday, will count toward March Mathness results. Final winners will be announced after Spring Break.
After School Events: Middle school students attending after school sporting and other events at the middle or high school must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
Personal mobile devices: Personal mobile devices are not to be used from the beginning of school to the end of school. The device must be 'off' (or in airplane mode), kept out of sight at all times, and stored in a personal bag such as a bookbag.
